Ayurveda cure India – information and advice
Ayurveda is a thousand year old Indian medicine with a philosophical background. The name comes from two Sanskrit roots, namely ayus for „life“ and veda for „knowledge“. Ayurveda has its origins in southern India, especially in the states of Karnataka and Kerala. In today’s hectic times, a cure offers us a good opportunity to regenerate physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being and creates a feeling of harmony with the world around us. The focus is on the precisely coordinated concept with natural remedies, oil massages, breathing techniques and special nutrition in order to bring the body, which has lost its natural balance, back into harmony with itself. Ayurveda is one of the oldest health systems in the world. The mostly oral knowledge about the healing powers of various herbs, certain essential oils, herbal products and their mode of action and effectiveness is already partially recognized by modern western medicine. Ayurveda teaches that three forces are at work in the human body: Vata, Pitta and Kapha determine the individual constitution. If these forces (Doshas) are sluggish or even disturbed, illnesses occur. The Vata principle controls the movement sequences and regulates the activity of the muscles, the internal organs, the mind and the sensory organs (nerves), Pitta the heat process in the body. Kapha is responsible for the structure of the body. In Ayurvedic thinking, these three basic forces can be transferred to all manifestations in the universe. Ayurveda does not treat the symptoms of a disease, but the causes. Illness is nothing more than a blockage in internal communication. According to Ayurvedic medicine, the doshas are fixed in every human being from birth. One, two or all of the doshas can be predominant in a person. It is therefore important to find out what constitution or disposition the patient has. The therapy is based on that. In India and Sri Lanka there are many Ayurvedic treatment centers that use traditional methods such as Dhara, Pizhichil and Sirovasti and enjoy an international reputation.
